There are three likely responses to the title of this scatterthought, each of which can be summed up in one word:
- “Yay!”
- “Drat”
- “Huh?”
Of course, this is my roundabout way of saying what some of you have already figured out: I’m returning to Ontario for the Robin in the Hood festival! I plan to fly out on the weekend of May 24th, spend the first half of my visit catching up with people in KW, and then join the RitH crew for the duration of the festival.
It took me awhile to decide on the travel dates, because I really wanted to volunteer at a fundraising event that CFAX Santas Anonymous is part of (which takes place on Sunday, May 25). However, seeing my old friends is more important, and it only makes sense to have the full weekend available to do that. I could also have tried to stick around for a bit after RitH, but those are typically “recovery” days, and I wouldn’t want to gamble on my energy levels.
So yeah, for those of you who were wondering, I’ll be back soon. 64 days, to be exact.
That should be enough time for the snow to be over and done with in Ontario…
