Tragedy is a word that we use far too often. And like every other overused word, we take away from its meaning and gravity every time we throw it out around.
That being said, the death of Heath Ledger, at the age of 28, is a tragedy. In my opinion, he was a wonderfully talented actor with a bright future. He accomplished more in his brief career than most actors ever will.
Perhaps the saddest part is that his two-year-old daughter will be able to watch his movies, but will never know him as a father.
That’s the real tragedy.
