Just another day

Here’s an interesting little tidbit: in all of the years that I’ve maintained this site, first as HTML then on WordPress, last year was the first time that I actually posted a scatterthought on November 1st.

The significance, of course, being that today is my birthday.

And that’s all I have to say about that. Feel free to post a happy-birthday comment, but don’t feel that you have to. If you’re here and you’re reading this, then I know you’re thinking it. And that’s more than enough for me.

  1. Happy Birthday!

Because even if I’m here and reading it, and hence obviously thinking it – I feel that it’s important that you know that I’m here and reading it and most especially thinking it.

Not because I think you are affected by other people’s opinions or comments, but because it’s nice to know that people care and are looking in on you and are full of support for you and are wishing you happiness and delight at the fact that you were born.

  2. Happy Birthday Russ… it seems like not so long ago you were pestering your sister and I to play with you… and us teaching you to ride your bike in a not so nice way… and throwing you in the pool… ah it was fun! Anyhow, happy birthday, I hope you had a great day.
