On March 28, 11 design teams will take over Conestoga Mall (after hours) to build structures out of cans of food. It’s called Canstruction, and I’ve been looking forward to it for the past year. The structures will be on display for a week, after which the cans will be donated to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. How great is that?
I’ve been involved on the organizing committee, and am also helping a team of students from the University of Waterloo to raise funds for their structure. If you’d like to make a donation in support of their efforts, let me know!
