Cleanup on all of the aisles

I shouldn’t be awake right now, but I am.

Yeah, I know. You’ve heard that before. As usual, I was up late finishing an article, and now my mind is all active. That’s quite a switch from earlier in the day, when a dull, throbbing headache pretty much ground my productivity to a halt.

Anyway, I’ve got a lot of loose ends to tie up over the next couple of weeks. First and most importantly with the Schools Challenge, and then with some other things. Gotta keep the world spinning, right? And besides, if I don’t get it done in December, then January will hit hard with the start of FASS 2008.

Call it an early new year’s resolution: by the time the new year hits, I’ll be ready to go.

For that to happen, I need to start a list of all the things floating around in my head, so that I can complete them one by one. That’s my problem, really. I’m able to put things off so long as they aren’t defined by a hard deadline. Even simple things, such as putting up the laundry-room shelf that I bought months ago. Yep, simple things.

I’m feeling very upbeat at the moment. Surprisingly upbeat. Strangely upbeat. I guess things are just going well at the moment, and I can’t complain.

Oh, and for the record, today was an exceptionally good hair day. Just thought you should know.
